A LITTLE GUIDE

How do you play the online classical guitar?

A classical guitar’s standard tuning, from low to high, is E, A, D, G, B, E. The thick string at the top of the screen is the 6th string. Tap the frets on the left to press a note, and tap or drag across the strings on the body on the right to play. Each fret raises the sound by a semitone. A pressed string only vibrates from the fret to the bridge, and the note’s name appears on the finger dot.

First exercise: the p-i-m-a arpeggio

Choose the Am chord, set the right hand to Fingers and press Arpeggio. The thumb (p) plays the bass string, and the index, middle and ring fingers (i-m-a) play the thin strings. Nylon strings ring softly and briefly; put the capo on the 2nd fret and try the same shape in a different key.
